Privacy
This beta privacy notice explains how Birthday Machine uses the information needed to create and deliver your video.
Data We Collect
We collect the buyer email, recipient name and age, uploaded photo, face crop details, personal details entered in the form, generated media assets, order status, and payment metadata from Stripe.
How We Use Data
We use this data to generate and deliver the birthday video, provide support, debug failures, improve reliability, and protect the service during beta.
Storage
Order data is stored in our database. Uploaded photos and generated files are stored in object storage or local storage depending on the environment.
Third-Party Processors
We use these services to make and deliver your order, and they receive only what that step needs: WaveSpeed, which runs the AI image and video models (including Kling, Gemini image models and Seedream), receives the uploaded photos and the scene descriptions; Anthropic, which writes and checks the text, receives the details you enter about the person, such as name, age and interests; Treblo, which makes the song, receives the lyrics and your choices of language, genre and artist inspiration; Stripe handles payments; Resend sends our e-mails; and hosting and storage providers run the app and store files. A person at Birthday Machine also reviews each film and song.
Retention
During beta, generated assets may be retained for up to 30 days unless they are deleted earlier. We may keep limited order metadata longer when needed for support, accounting, or abuse prevention.
Deletion Requests
You can request deletion by contacting support@birthdaymachine.ai. Admins can delete test orders and generated assets from the internal tools.
No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell personal data.
